Corrections & Editorial Standards Policy
Accuracy is our first obligation. When we get something wrong, we correct it quickly, clearly and openly.
Our editorial standards in brief
- Every factual claim is attributed to a verifiable source.
- Headlines describe the story accurately — no clickbait.
- News, opinion, government listings and sponsored content are clearly separated and labelled.
- Government information comes from official notices only, with a visible “Last verified” date.
- Each item names the responsible editor. Read the full Editorial Policy.
How to request a correction
Email mail@eakhabaar.com with the subject “Correction”, the page link, the specific error, and any supporting evidence. You do not need to give your name, but contact details help us follow up.
What happens next
- The responsible editor reviews the request promptly, normally within one working day.
- If an error is confirmed, we fix it on the page.
- For any substantive change, a visible “Correction / update” note explains what was changed and why.
- The page shows an “Updated” date alongside the original publication date. We never silently change the original publication date.
- Government listings are re-checked against the official source and their “Last verified” date is refreshed.
Minor fixes
Spelling, grammar or formatting fixes that do not change the meaning may be made without a note.
Removal requests
We do not remove accurate reports on request. We will consider updates where new, verifiable information becomes available, or where there is a genuine legal or safety concern.
