Editorial Policy
These standards apply to everything we publish — news, government listings, biographies, lyrics and blog posts.
1. Accuracy and verification
We publish only what we can attribute to a named, verifiable source: official statements, documents, filings, data releases, on-record interviews or established news organisations. We do not publish fabricated facts, invented quotations, anonymous rumours presented as fact, or automatically generated filler.
2. Attribution
Each report makes clear who said what. Where a source is available online, we name it and link to it in the source field shown beneath the story.
3. Headlines and summaries
Headlines must be factual, descriptive and supported by the story. We do not use misleading, sensational or clickbait headlines, and our page titles and descriptions always reflect what is visible on the page.
4. Fairness
When a report includes allegations, we seek a response from the people or organisations concerned and include it where available.
5. Opinion
Opinion pieces are signed, appear in the Opinion section and are clearly labelled. They represent the writer's view, not a news report.
6. Government information
Scheme, job and result pages summarise official notices only. We never invent eligibility criteria, benefit amounts, vacancies, fees, dates or result links. Fields not provided in the official notice are left blank. Each page shows a “Last verified” date and readers should always check the official source before applying.
7. Biographies
Biographies are based on verifiable public records. We respect privacy, avoid speculation about private lives, and do not publish personal details that serve no public interest.
8. Lyrics
Lyrics pages credit the singers, lyricists and composers. We publish lyrics only where we have rights or permission, and rights holders can contact us at mail@eakhabaar.com.
9. Bylines and accountability
Every item displays the editor responsible for it, linked to their profile. Section editors are listed on our editors page.
10. Independence, advertising and sponsored content
Advertisers have no influence over editorial decisions. Advertisements are labelled “Advertisement” and never placed inside headlines. Sponsored content is labelled “Sponsored”, names the sponsor and is never presented as independent reporting.
11. Search and distribution
We publish technically sound pages, sitemaps and structured data to help search engines understand our content. Search engines and aggregators independently decide whether and how to show any page; we make no claims of approval or guaranteed placement.
