About the scheme
Punjab’s Crop Residue Management programme promotes in-situ and ex-situ solutions to reduce stubble burning, protect soil nutrients and limit seasonal air pollution. Depending on the annual guidelines, support may be available for individual farmers and for custom hiring centres run by eligible groups or institutions. Machinery categories, subsidy shares, application windows and inspection rules are set for each season.
Farmers searching for Punjab CRM Scheme machinery subsidy should apply only during the notified season and use approved equipment and vendors. The Punjab crop residue management scheme supports sustainable farming, residue incorporation and shared machinery access under current agriculture department rules.
Eligibility
Farmers and eligible cooperatives, FPOs, panchayats or registered groups meeting that season’s machinery and application rules.
Benefits
Subsidy or shared machinery access at the rates and for the equipment categories stated in current guidelines; rates vary by applicant type and year.
Documents required
Landholding or farmer registration details, identity and bank proof, group registration where relevant, equipment quotation and prescribed application documents.
How to apply
Apply on the designated agriculture system during the seasonal window, obtain approval before purchase, buy approved equipment and complete inspection/claim steps.
